February 2012 Events Tuesday, February 7, 2012 - Old Timers' Time, 10:30 a.m. Old Timers will meet on Tuesday mornings (instead of Thursday) for several weeks beginning February 7th. Make a note of the change!
Wednesday, February 8, 2012 - Monthly Business Meeting, (immediately following Wednesday evening prayer meeting)
Saturday, February 11, 2012 - Valentine Banquet, 6:00 p.m. Our annual adults Valentine banquet is not just for couples! All persons 16 or older are welcome to attend. The cost of the meal will be $5.00 per person, payable in advance. Child care will be provided for children under the age of 10. Contact Stacey Thompson for more information or to volunteer to help with preparations.

Saturday, February 18, 2012 - Gospel Music Outreach. Supper at 6:00 p.m.; Music at 7:00 p.m. -- FREE "Chamber music " will be our guest performers. They are a family band, playing bluegrass and classical music for the last 11 years.

Musical Chairs: Singers and musicians meet each Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. to practice together.
"Old Timers' Time" - Our senior members meet at the church each Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. for an informal time of fellowship, encouragement, and prayer. Beginning February 7, this meeting will be on Tuesday mornings (instead of Thursdays) for a couple of months due to some schedule conflicts.
Nursery Workers Needed - This important ministry to our littlest ones needs a few more volunteers to fill some gaps in the schedule. If you have a heart for children and can help out, please use the sign-up sheet on the hall bulletin board or see Stacey Thompson. |
