What is Awana?

The acronym Awana comes from the first letters of the phrase “Approved workmen are not ashamed.” from 2 Timothy 2:15

Why Awana?

Because children matter to God. It is our prayer that all children and youth throughout the world will come to know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

At the core of Awana are the weekly club meetings. The children have fun playing age-appropriate games, memorizing Bible verses in an organized, topical system, and participating in large-group Bible teaching.

Cubbies Club is for pre-schoolers (2 yrs prior to Kindergarten).

Sparks Club is for Kindergarten through 2nd grade.

Truth & Training Club is for 3rd through 6th grades.

*Trek Club is for 7th & 8th grades.

*Journey Club is for 9th - 12th grades.

*Currently these clubs are not active at MOTBBC.

If you have questions about Awana or wish to enroll your child, please contact Sherry Tracy, MOTBBC Awana Commander, at 816-454-2555, or by e-mail to: sherry_trac@yahoo.com
